Recipients who unsubscribe from newsletters do so for various reasons, the most common of which is due to high frequency of inbound mails and irrelevant content. This can be resolved these by setting up an Email Preference Center; a tool that gives your subscribers control over what they receive and how often they receive your emails.
In this article, you'll learn how to set up an Email Preference Center.
Set your categories visible to the public
By default, all categories are hidden. If you want to let your recipients choose their preferred content to receive, you have to set the category group to visible.
- Go to Subscribers / Categories
- Click on the Edit button next to the Category you want to set as visible
- Click the checkbox: "This category should be visible to recipients"
- Click Save
Once done, these options will be displayed in the Unsubscribe page. When your recipients click on the unsubscribe link in your email, they will have the option to unsubscribe from certain emails or all future emails.
