Add and Delete Custom Field
When you add or remove custom fields, it will directly reflect the Subscriber's profile view and Subscriber's list view. For disabled custom field, it will be hidden from the Subscriber's profile view and Subscriber's list view.
Add a Custom Field
To add a custom field, follow the steps below:-
- Go to Custom Fields in Subscribers tab.
- Click on the one of the field types.
- Enter Field label, Field key and Description (Optional).
- Click Save to save your changes.
- The form will refresh and it will display as the last item on the Active Field list.
Delete a Custom Field
To delete a custom field, follow the steps below:-
- Go to Custom Fields in Subscribers tab.
- Click on the item you want to delete from the list on the left.
- Click Delete field under the field properties on the right.
- Click on the Delete button to confirm deletion.
Enable and Disable Custom Field
For disabled custom field, it will be hidden from the Subscriber's profile view and Subscriber's list view.
Enable a Custom Field
To enable a custom field, follow the steps below:-
- Go to Custom Fields in Subscribers tab.
- Mouse over the item you want to disable from the Active field list.
- Click the Disable link.
- The page will refresh and it will move to Inactive field list.
Disable a Custom Field
To disable a custom field, follow the steps below:-
- Go to Custom Fields in Subscribers tab.
- Navigate to Inactive tab.
- Mouse over the item you want to enable from the Inactive field list.
- Click the Enable link.
- The page will refresh and it will move to Active field list.
Sort the Custom Field
The sequence of the custom fields can be re-positioned and will be reflected in Subscriber's Profile view and Add Manual page. To sort a custom field, follow the steps below:-
- Go to Custom Fields in Subscribers tab.
- Click the handles of the item that you want to sort.
- Drag the item to a new position within the list.
- Done!
Set visible fields
Sometimes you want to make your custom fields visible to your recipients, so they can view and edit it. To control which fields are displayed or not, follow the steps below:-
Important: You are required to set the field visible in order to add the field into your form.
- Go to Custom Fields in Subscribers tab.
- Click the custom field on the left panel to open the field properties.
- Check the checkbox for 'This field should be visible to recipients'.
- Save.
