Getting Started With Pop-up Forms

You can now build your own Pop-up Forms with Enginemailer. Pop-up Forms are a great way to drive conversions for your website or landing page. Enginemailer comes with a selection of Pop-up Forms that you can choose from based on your needs.

In this article, you'll learn how to create a simple Pop-up Form.

Create a Pop-up Form

To create a Pop-up Form, follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to the Forms tab and select Pop-up Forms.
2. Click Create a Pop-up.
3. Enter a name for your Pop-up Form. You may also enable/disable double opt-in and choose categories that you want to assign this Pop-up Form to.
4. Optional: Check Use Custom Settings for Google reCAPTCHA if you want to use your own keys. Learn more about Google reCAPTCHA
5. Once done, click Save and Next.
6. Now you need to choose a Template to start with. You can select from the Themes layout or any saved templates by clicking My templates. Mouseover your chosen template and click Get Started.
7. In the Design section, you can select the Layout and Position of the Pop-up Form you would like to design on the left of your screen.                                                                   
8. Once you have decided on the Layout and Position of your Pop-up Form, you can proceed to design and edit it to your liking. For more information on how to use the Drag-n-Drop Editor, click here.
9. You can also customise your Thank You page by selecting the THANK YOU PAGE in the Editor
10. Once you are satisfied with your design, click Save and Next.
11. In the Publish section, you can review your Pop-up Form details to ensure that all the information is correct before you publish it. Click on the Preview button to view your Pop-Up Form.
12. You can also define the behaviour for your Pop-up form by selecting when it will show up to a user.
13. You will be provided with Pop-up Code in this section. Add the code specified right before the closing </head> tag in your chosen webpage.
14. You can also set where users are redirected to after submitting the form.
15. Choose whether or not you want Subscriber Notification when you obtain new signups.
16. Once you are done, click on Save and Publish to activate your Pop-up Form.
