When you sign up for Enginemailer, you are required to complete an account verification process. In addition to email verification, SMS OTP (One-Time Password) verification is implemented as part of our security measures.
During registration, you will be prompted to provide your mobile number. An OTP will be sent to your phone, and you must enter the code to successfully activate your account.
Please note that SMS OTP verification is required for both new account registration as well as when upgrading or downgrading your plan.
Why you might not receive the OTP
If you do not receive the OTP, it could be due to one of the following reasons:
-
Carrier delivery issue
The OTP was successfully sent by our SMS provider, but the message was not delivered to your device by your mobile network operator.
-
Number flagged by SMS provider
Your mobile number may be blocked by our SMS provider due to previous fraud-related activity associated with it.
-
Delivery failure
Your phone may be switched off, out of network coverage, or experiencing connectivity issues.
-
Security or risk checks
Our system may flag certain registrations as suspicious due to inconsistencies or unusual patterns in the provided information, which can prevent OTP delivery as a security measure.
What you can do
If you are not receiving the OTP:
- Double-check that your mobile number was entered correctly.
- Ensure your phone has network coverage and can receive SMS messages.
- Contact your mobile network provider to confirm there are no delivery issues.
- Reach out to us at support@enginemailer.com for assistance.
