How to Add WhatsApp Subscribers

When adding subscribers, you may add them manually or batch import. In this article, you'll learn how to add subscribers.

1. Go to the Subscribers Tab.

2. Click Create Subscribers button.

   

Add manually

1. Select Add manually.

2. Enter the subscriber’s WhatsApp Mobile and any relevant custom fields available in the form. 

   Please note that only the WhatsApp Mobile is required to submit the form; other fields are optional.

3. Assign appropriate categories to the subscriber. If no categories are available, follow the instructions to create a new category.

4. Once all the details are entered, click Add Subscriber to save the information.

Batch import  

1. Select Batch import

2. Step 1: Select File

   Click Browse File to select your CSV or TXT file, then click Upload File to upload it. 

   Please note that only .CSV and .TXT files are supported.

3. Step 2: Assign SubCategory 

   Select the subcategories you want to assign to your subscribers. If no categories exist, you can create one during this step.

4. Step 3: Map Column Data 

   Map the columns from your file to the corresponding fields in Enginemailer. Ensure the WhatsApp Mobile field is mapped to proceed. 

   Phone Number Format:

   Phone numbers must include the country code and start with a plus (+) sign.

   Avoid using spaces, dashes, or dots between digits.

   Maximum length: 16 characters

   Example:

   [phone]

   If you don’t want to import a certain field, select --- Skip this column ---.

5. Step 4: Review and Upload 

   Review your data. We’ll check for duplicates and let you know if any are found. If "Override existing data" is checked, any existing data will be replaced, even if it’s blank. Click Show me to preview invalid data. You can then edit or delete the entries as needed.
