Enginemailer allows you to use email notifications to keep users informed about campaign activity. Enable this email notification in your Settings to receive your campaign updates.
In this article, you will learn how to enable or disable email notifications and configure notification groups.
Things to note:
- Before you can turn on notifications, you will need to create a notification group.
Create a notification group
To create a notification group, follow the steps below:
- Go to Manage Account
- Navigate to Notifications
- Click Groups tab
- Click Add Group
- In the model, enter the Group Name, Group Description and the email addresses of users who you want to receive notifications.
- Once done, click Create
Turn on / off notification
To turn on notifications, follow the steps below:
- Go to Manage Account
- Navigate to Notifications
- If you wish to receive notifications, tick the checkbox next to the campaign you want to receive. Uncheck it to opt-out from all future notifications.
- If you enable at least one activity notification, you need to select at least one notification group.
- Once completes, click Save
Override global settings
In certain campaigns, you may wish to notify different groups of people or disable the notification. You are able to override global settings in Campaign Settings.
To override global settings, follow the steps below:
- Select one of your draft campaigns
- Go to Step 4 (Send) of Campaign wizard
- Under Campaign Settings, you can turn on or turn off the notification
- If you want to change different notification group, tick the checkbox under the Campaign updates box.
- Select your recipient group in the input field.
